If you enjoy going for a hike or a bike ride, our region is made for you! We have plenty of cycling routes and pedestrian paths to choose from, along the banks of the river, in the fields or the forest.
For nature lovers, follow the GR41 along the River Cher and observe nature around you, you’ll also stumble across an amazing view over the château de Chenonceau.
Around Chenonceaux, you’ll be close to 2 important cycling routes : Loire à vélo and Indre à vélo. We also have 7 smaller cycling routes that enable you to wander around iconic sites of the Loire Valley such as Amboise and Chenonceau, or enjoy the quietness of the countryside. They are perfect for families, for beginners and even skilled cyclists.
Don’t forget to download the maps on the website or to come to the tourist office to get them before exploring!
