Pays d’Art et d’Histoire
Art et Histoire Le Pays Loire Touraine is part of the national network Villes et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire which gathers 58 towns from the north-eastern part of Indre-et-Loire, surrounding Amboise, Montlouis-sur-Loire, Vouvray, Bléré and Château-Renault.
It is granted by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, this label is given to territories that commit to enhancing the diversity of the heritage of the region, whether it is something natural or built, old or new, handcrafted or industrial. They also focus on maximizing its outreach by creating specific animations to discover and explore our heritage.
The tourist office is implementing actions surrounding brands and labels to provide visitors, partners and the tourism industry with a service of quality and obtain global satisfaction.
This label was created by the Ministry dedicated to tourism to unify the tourism industry whose goal is to satisfy the visitor.
Tourisme et Handicap (« Accessible Tourism »)
Tourism and Handicap The Label » Tourism and Handicap » is an answer at the request of the people in situation of handicap who want to be able to choose their holidays and their leisure activities quite freely. The label brings a guarantee of a reception effective and adapted to the essential needs for the disabled people. Documents used for the evaluation which precedes the labelling were developed in dialogue between persons receiving benefits associations of the tourism and representatives of the disabled people.
The label is also a way to make sensitive the people working in the tourist industry in the reception of the people handicaped thanks to the professional unions but also through the French network of institutional of the tourism ( tourist office, tourist information office, departmental and regional committee of the tourism ). The Tourisme et Handicaps association is permanently used to it.
The conditions of attribution of the label were formalized by the ministry delegated to the tourism which confided to the association » Tourisme et Handicaps » the mission to help concretely in its implementation.

Our tourist office is classed as “catégorie III” and is part of the network of tourist offices in France.

> Be open at least 120 days per year, Saturdays and Sundays included, during tourist season.
